Our Rising Stars program is a nurturing environment for our young 3-year-olds, fostering exploration and socialization. Designed for children with birthdays from July to December, our curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning with open-ended materials like blocks, paint, and playdough, encouraging a multi-sensory approach to understanding their world.
Social skills development is a key focus, as children engage in circle time discussions, practice taking turns, and socialize with peers. Our classroom community nurtures independence while promoting collaboration.
We also incorporate enriching activities, such as music with Mr. Kurt and yoga with Budding Buddhas, held twice a month. Outdoor learning is integral to our program, with over 60% of the day spent outside, including nature walks to Roosevelt Park in the Spring.
In addition to fostering creativity and socialization, children explore name recognition, letter sounds, colors, shapes, and counting, all through a play-based framework. We offer both half and full-day options to accommodate varying needs, ensuring plenty of time for outdoor play and social interaction.
Our Junior Pre-K program is tailored for children who turn 3 between January and June. The curriculum focuses on enhancing verbal skills, reading, writing, mathematics, phonics, and science through a variety of multi-sensory experiences.
We offer both half-day and full-day options to allow for more socialization and outdoor activities.
Our goal is to create a nurturing environment that addresses the developmental needs of each child. We recognize the individuality of every student, understanding that learning paces may vary. Our aim is to guide each child in developing their critical thinking skills to their fullest potential, fostering a passion for self-motivated learning.
We believe that each child's self-esteem is vital for healthy intellectual and social growth. Our supportive staff provides a range of academic and age-appropriate challenges that cater to each child's readiness, helping them thrive in their learning journey.
